    How long does my membership last?

    SWANA offers anniversary membership, meaning your membership runs for one year from the date you join.

    Do you offer group or company membership?

    SWANA memberships are for individuals; however, many companies purchase membership for several employees or encourage more than one employee to purchase their own membership.

    Can I transfer a membership?

    Yes, if an employer paid for the membership, it may be transferred to another employee in your organization. Please contact SWANA at 800-467-9262 or send an email to [email protected] with the names and contact information for both the new and former member.

    How do I log-in to MySWANA?

    Click on MySWANA and log-in using the username and password provided to you at the time of membership purchase. If you did not register online, the site defaults to:
    Username: Your Email Address
    Password: First letter of your first name in caps and membership number. (Ex.: F12345)

    I forgot my log-in and password for MySWANA. How do I retrieve it?

    Retrieve your log-in information from the MySWANA log-in page where you can click on the “Forgot password” or “Forgot username” links. You can also contact us at 800-467-9262 or via email at [email protected].

    How does membership renewal work?

    SWANA will send you an invoice via mail and email starting 90 days out from your expiration date. Once received, invoices can be paid by credit card online using your SWANA member account, via fax to 301-589-7068, by phone at 800-467-9262 or by mail to:

    How do I retrieve my member ID number?

    Log-in to your MySWANA account, then highlight the “My Account” tab and click on the “Personal Info” drop down option. Your member ID number can also be retrieved off of your SWANA membership card or by calling us at 800-467-9262.

    When will I receive my membership card?

    All individuals signing up for SWANA membership and who have their membership payment posted in our system will be receiving membership ID cards 30 days from the date of joining.

    How long does my chapter membership last?

    The period covered for your chapter membership annual dues is the same as your annual SWANA membership. Chapter dues will be included in your membership renewal statement for payment.

    Can I join again after my membership has lapsed?

    Yes, former members can come back to SWANA anytime. Click here to enter your information, then click “Create Account.” You should receive a prompt asking if the current record is you. Click “Yes” then proceed to purchase membership. You can also give us a call at 800-467-9262 or send an email to [email protected] for further assistance.

    How do I manage my subscriptions?
